Quick Facts
- New Playable Descendant: Raven, specializing in shotgun combat and Shadow Arche abilities.
- New Mega Dungeon: Karel's Mothership, featuring a decisive final showdown against Karel across two difficulty settings.
- New Equipment: 11 Transcendent Weapons with a maximum Quality cap of 400.
- Combat Content: Roguelike "Trials" mode with pre-configured rotational builds and variable codes.
Main Story and Karel's Mothership
Season 4 centers around the final showdown between the Descendant Corps and Karel, with the ultimate fate of Ingris on the line. Players can dive into Karel's Mothership, a new Mega Dungeon that hosts tactical battles against Legion Commanders leading up to the final confrontation with Karel. The dungeon is split into two distinct difficulty options, allowing players to tailor the challenge level to their specific combat capabilities.
New Combat Content: Trials and Extreme Intercepts
For players seeking endless challenge and growth, the update introduces Trials, a rogue-lite combat mode. Descendants enter with a pre-configured rotational build, then combine Variable Codes found during combat to forge custom strategies against increasingly powerful waves of enemies.
Additionally, the Void Intercept Battle: Extreme officially opens. Players can select their own difficulty by combining Critical Point effects to face intense Colossus Battles. Higher Critical Point selections yield tougher challenges alongside significantly more plentiful rewards, tied directly to a new leaderboard system ranking players by the total Critical Points of defeated Colossi.
Raven and Character Rebalances
Raven joins the roster as a new Descendant relying on firearm attacks, enhanced movement speed, and fast melee strikes. Her kit scales damage based on individual pellet hits from shotguns, supported by two exclusive Transcendent Modules that allow for diverse skill configurations.
Alongside Raven's introduction, baseline skills and balance adjustments arrive for Kyle and Keelan. Their updates bring overall skill damage increases, refined skill effects, and reduced animation locks to ensure a smoother, more responsive flow during active combat.
Transcendent Weapons and Module Additions
Surpassing existing Ultimate Weapons, 11 Transcendent Weapons have been added to regular combat drop pools. Each acquired weapon brings a distinct combination of abilities and can reach a maximum Quality of 400, boosting base statistics as players push into higher Quality ranges.
Two new Trigger Modules also expand build variety:
- Perfect Positioning: Enhances max shields and skill power when utilizing rolls and grappling hooks for dynamic positioning.
- Aesthetics of Violation: Focuses on skill cooldown management and increased skill power during fights against Commanders and Tyrants.
Quality of Life and Event Updates
Season 4 brings several quality-of-life improvements, including invincibility applied to Descendants immediately after defeating a Colossus in Intercept Battles to prevent unexpected end-stage deaths. Crafting material drop rates have also been increased across combat content to streamline farming.
The updated Battle Pass offers the Albion Heritage "Nightfall" skin and the game's first-ever Bike Skin. Meanwhile, the Boost Path: Ultimate Bunny Build Guide event provides targeted progression assistance for players at Mastery Rank 20 or below, allowing them to quickly acquire a high-level Ultimate Bunny build.
