If you consider yourself a completionist, you likely know that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an absolute marathon of content. With 1,161 items to collect, the game offers plenty to keep players busy long after the initial credits roll. Now that the RPG has been out for over a year, the team at Game Checklists has crunched the data from over 4,000 players to reveal exactly what items people are missing.
The Rarest Find in Sandfall Interactive’s RPG
While there are plenty of rare rewards, the most elusive piece of kit is the Baguette Weapon. Currently, only 6% of tracked players have managed to acquire it. It isn't just a matter of hunting down a hidden chest, either; the weapon is a secret that requires specific planning.
To get your hands on the baked blunt object, you have to save a Festival Token throughout your entire initial run. You then need to start a New Game Plus session and trade that saved token for the item. Because the game doesn't explicitly tell you this—instead pointing you toward standard vendors—the Baguette remains a rarity driven largely by player luck or incidental discovery.
The Thank You Update and Cosmetic Rarity
Other items on the "most missed" list come with a significant caveat. Gustave's Anniversary Haircut, for example, is held by only 2.5% of players. However, this is largely because the cosmetic was only added to the game in April 2026, long after many players had moved on to other titles.
Similarly, items tied to the "Thank You Update" appear frequently on the list of overlooked gear:
- Simon the Divergent Star reward: An item granted for defeating this sub-boss.
- Clea Unleashed reward: Another sub-boss reward from the same update.
- Maelle’s Haircut: A cosmetic tied to a puzzle introduced in the Thank You Update.
As Game Checklists points out, the Baguette is arguably the only item on the list that is truly "meaningful" in terms of rarity, as it has been accessible since the game’s launch for any player willing to figure out the secret requirement. It is a fittingly quirky reward from the French studio, which was previously honored by the French Ministry of Culture for its work on the title.
