Ubisoft has detailed Rainbow Six Siege's latest seasonal update, Operation Split Fire. The content drop brings a new playable character, a revamped competitive tier, and targeted adjustments to existing map layouts.

New Operator: Noor

Noor joins the roster as the game's first Egyptian Operator. As a Defender, her primary utility is the Horus Lance Launcher, which fires piercing projectiles. These projectiles attach to surfaces, floors, ceilings, and shields before emitting flames, providing players with new area-denial capabilities and options to counter shield-based tactics.

Competitive and Map Updates

The update introduces the Legend Division, a new competitive tier positioned above the current Champion rank. This tier is designed to provide a more distinct challenge for top-tier players in the Ranked playlist.

The Villa map is also receiving a targeted update. Rather than a full overhaul, the developers have adjusted specific areas and relocated a bomb site to create new strategic variety while maintaining the map's established identity.

Additional Season Content

Operation Split Fire includes several other additions for Rainbow Six Siege players:

  • New Arcade Mode: A 3v3 mode designed for faster, lower-commitment matches.
  • Modernized Environments: Visual and functional updates for Stadium Alpha, Stadium Bravo, House, the Shooting Range, and the tutorial maps.
  • Balancing Patches: A series of adjustments to Operators, gadgets, and weapons aimed at shifting the current gameplay meta.

Players can find full details on these updates through the official Rainbow Six Siege website.
