The latest update for Paralives on PC introduces a wide array of quality-of-life adjustments, gameplay tweaks, and bug fixes. The patch tackles several community-reported friction points in the life simulation game, most notably reworking the appearance and spawn behavior of babies.

Quick Facts

  • Platform: PC (Early Access)
  • Average Lifespan: Increased from 98 days to 112 days
  • Key Additions: Bed assignments, new relationship interactions, street addresses in Melino, and townie map toggles

Baby Model Rework and Birth Mechanics

Following community feedback regarding how the life sim's youngest residents looked, the development team updated the baby models to appear more baby-like. In addition to the visual change, babies are now born directly into a Para's arms rather than unceremoniously on the pavement.

Relationships, Beds, and Interactions

The patch introduces several minutiae relationship interactions. Friends and family can now hug one another, and friends with a high enough friendship level can move in together. Players can also assign a specific Para to a designated side of the bed. Clicking on a bed or on a Para initiates romantic interactions like smooching or getting intimate.

World Updates and Quality-of-Life Fixes

The in-game world of Melino now features street addresses and names to help track specific lots, and townies can now appear on the town map through an optional toggle. Dead Paras should no longer remain lying down in the street for days on end, and new floor textures have been added for home building. Additionally, Paras can now pass the time by playing Dorfromantik in-game.
