A new beta update for Manor Lords, scheduled for release by the end of July 2026, is set to expand the game’s agricultural and construction systems. The most notable addition is the introduction of cow breeding, allowing players to manage livestock populations more actively.

New Livestock and Agricultural Features

The update brings several changes to how players interact with their cattle. Beyond breeding, players will now be able to import cows. Livestock farm workers—previously referred to as sheep farm workers—will be responsible for collecting milk, and cows can also be processed for beef. To accommodate these animals, pastures will now require formal planning and construction costs that scale based on the size of the area.

Alongside the livestock changes, players can grow oats as a new crop. This resource is used to produce animal feed, which is critical for survival; if players fail to feed their livestock, the animals will starve during the winter. Additionally, players can now assign specific work tasks per season in every workplace.

Construction and Map Updates

Building management is receiving a significant overhaul with the introduction of a tiered system. Structures are now split into basic and advanced categories. While basic structures benefit from faster construction speeds, advanced buildings require the expertise of skilled builders housed at the new construction yard.

The developer, Slavic Magic, has also increased the visual detail of building sites. Advanced structures will now feature scaffolding and cranes during the construction process, and workers will be seen performing tasks like transporting water from wells, creating a more active environment for the player.

Finally, the update includes a new map titled Wide Valley, which features new river layouts. Players should note that this update is currently slated for a late July 2026 release as a beta patch.
