Nagash and the Undead Legions
Developer Creative Assembly kicks off the expansion with Nagash, the Supreme Lord of Undeath. Described as a magical powerhouse in heavy armor with solid melee stats, Nagash leads the new Undead Legions into battle.
His forces introduce Spirit Hosts for harassing units lacking physical attacks, alongside Morghast Harbingers (flying heavy infantry with dual cleavers) and Morghast Archai (halberd-wielding variants). Support units include Tomb Heralds for resistances and leadership buffs, Liche High Priests capable of casting light, death, undeath, and Nehekhara curses, and Drakenhof Templars as a generalist cavalry option. Players can also deploy the Coven Throne bone construct to reveal enemies and drain their will, or use the Khemric Titan for sandstorms and scarabs. Legendary Heroes Walach Harkon and Dieter Helsnicht round out the roster.
The Glottkin and Nurgle Additions
Represented as an all-purpose spellcaster with high constitution, the Glottkin trio of Otto, Ethrac, and Ghurek Glott join Nurgle's ranks. They are accompanied by Flayerkin marauders, armor-piercing Giant Spined Chaos Beasts, and slow, tanky Putrid Blightkings.
Basilisks leave poisoned ground in their wake, while Chaos Siege Giants act as titanic living wall-breakers. Nurgle's new Legendary Heroes consist of Gutrot Spume, Orghotts Daemonspew, Morbidex Twiceborn, and Bloab Rotspawned.
Boris Todbringer and the Empire
Grand Duke Boris Todbringer of Middenland leads the Empire forces, riding on foot, war horse, pegasus, or griffin. He is joined by cheap frontline Warriors of Ulric, anti-large Knights Panther, and axe-wielding Priests of Ulric.
Wolfkin troops bring furious frenzy to shrug off psychological tricks, while Hunting Hounds handle high-speed flanks. Legendary Hero Ar-Ulric Emil Valgeir wields the Hammer-Axe of Skoll alongside battlefield prayers, backed by the Seneschal of the White Wolf, Knights of the White Wolf, Teutogen Guard, and the Celestial Hurricanium.
Thanquol and Clan Scruten Skaven
Skaven Grey Seer Thanquol enters battle riding a four-armed rat-ogre named Boneripper. He brings Pusbags—expendable, disease-ridden units designed to explode upon death—and Exalted Daemon Legendary Hero Skreech Verminking.
Thanquol's Clan Scruten introduces six Stormfiend variants spanning melee choices like Shock Gauntlets, Grinderfists, and Doom-Flayers, alongside ranged options including Windlaunchers, Warpfire, and Rattling Cannons. Four distinct Verminlord types (Corruptors, Warpseers, Warbringers, and Deceivers) and the Warp-Doom Magma Cannon complete the Skaven reinforcements.
