A local game night recently saw an unusual Magic: The Gathering setup when a player arrived with a massive, 6-foot-tall deck containing over 2,000 cards.

Standard Commander rules in Magic: The Gathering mandate that decks must consist of exactly 100 cards—99 in the deck and one commander. However, rulebreaker cards from the MTG Mystery Booster set bypass these traditional restrictions.

Specifically, the card Whtz, The Bibliophile removes standard size limitations, enabling players to construct decks as large as they choose. This mechanic allowed for the towering stack of over 2,000 cards witnessed at the local gathering.
