Priced internationally at US$30.99, the expansion brings a reverse-direction route to the simulation alongside real crew voices, automated in-train announcements, and randomized signals.

Route Details and Timetables

The Tōkaidō Line section operated by JR EAST connects Shizuoka, Kanagawa, and Tokyo prefectures, moving through Atami, Yugawara, Odawara, Yokohama, and Kawasaki. The inbound route marks the first-ever reverse-direction path on an existing line within the simulation. Security equipment features ATS-P.

Players can operate several specific weekday timetables using the Series E233-3000 (15-car or 10-car formations):

  • Train 1838E: Local to Kagohara, operating from Ninomiya (departure 07:33) to Tōkyō (arrival 08:54).
  • Train 1560E: Local to Ueno, operating from Atami (departure 07:13) to Tōkyō (arrival 09:12).
  • Train 1866E: Local to Takasaki, operating from Atami (departure 11:53) to Tōkyō (arrival 13:37).
  • Train 1874E: Local to Kagohara, operating from Odawara (departure 13:35) to Tōkyō (arrival 14:58).
  • Train 3532E: Rapid ACTY to Utsunomiya (March 2020 Timetable), operating from Atami (departure 15:15) to Tōkyō (arrival 16:47).

Compatibility with Existing DLC Content

Owners of previously released add-ons gain extra flexibility. If you own the E231 Series DLC, you can operate the above timetables using the E231 series train without needing any new timetables included. Additionally, owners of the 185 Series DLC unlock three extra March 2013 timetable services:

  • Train 3722M: Shōnan Liner No. 2 to Tōkyō (15-car 185 Series), running from Odawara (06:19) to Tōkyō (07:50).
  • Train 9064M: Limited Express Odoriko No. 174 to Tōkyō (10-car 185 Series, weekends and holidays), running from Atami (13:01) to Tōkyō (14:12).
  • Train 3034M: Limited Express Odoriko No. 114 to Tōkyō (15-car 185 Series, all days), running from Atami (16:27) to Tōkyō (17:44).

Simultaneous Game Updates

The release coincides with updates across other parts of the game. The existing Tōkaidō Line DLC will receive automatic announcements. Meanwhile, the Utsunomiya Line DLC gets a correction to the driver's signal callout near Oku Station, and the E231 Series DLC receives updates to correct TIMS Operation Information screen display numbers.
