A new hotfix has been released for the IGS Classic Arcade Collection on PC via Steam, addressing player reports regarding audio volume imbalances.
Quick Facts
- Game: IGS Classic Arcade Collection
- Platform: PC (Steam)
- Update Type: Audio Hotfix
Confirmed Audio Changes
Developer H2 Interactive deployed the hotfix to target two specific audio complaints following the game's launch. The patch adjusts the in-game audio volume to prevent sound from becoming too quiet after entering a game. Additionally, it lowers the intro audio volume, which was previously significantly louder than the rest of the game.
Players currently only have the option to toggle audio completely ON or OFF. However, the development team confirmed that dedicated volume adjustment options are currently in development and will be added in a future update.
Player Impact and Action Required
PC players experiencing jarring volume leaps between the game's opening sequences and active gameplay will find their audio levels automatically balanced upon launching the title. No manual action or extra downloads are required beyond the standard Steam client update.
