- Patch Version: 1.13.00
- Available Platforms: Steam (PC), PlayStation
- Pending Platform: Steam (Mac)
- Key Changes: Abyss access for Oongka/Damiane, new dyeable gear, UI HUD toggle
New Content and Gear Expansions
The most significant addition in this update is the ability for Oongka and Damiane to enter the Abyss. This change also shifts the locations of Memory Fragments for Corrupted Caliburn, Goyen, Draven the Crowcaller, and the Clockwork White Horn to accommodate the new access.
Players looking to customize their look will find a substantial influx of new equipment:
- Oongka and Kliff: Added 39 pieces of equipment, including boss outfits like the Tarandus the Ashen, Unyielding Hero, and Knight of Carnage sets. These characters can now also equip Kuku-series gear.
- Damiane: Eight new pieces of armor have been added, along with the ability to equip boss gear including the Guardian of Odeck, Dark Marksman, and Masked Liberator outfits.
Additionally, developer-added crafting recipes now allow for the creation of four types of carpets and three new varieties of plate armor: Lightning Bolt, Scorchflame, and Frostcursed.
Gameplay and Quality-of-Life Improvements
The update introduces several requested features to streamline the Greymanes experience. A new "Hide Minimap and Status" option has been added under Settings > Others > Gameplay for players who prefer a cleaner HUD. For those utilizing bird pets, the new "Hunter’s Sigil" item allows avian companions to retrieve prey and gatherable items based on their specific specialties.
Other notable quality-of-life changes include:
- Summoned pets now rest alongside the character when in bed.
- Firefly colonies now yield up to three fireflies during gathering.
- Muskets and pistols can now be fired while sliding.
- Teleportation devices at the Gate to Advancement no longer require a Visione to operate.
- Dyeable options have been expanded to include most weapons, secondary weapons, and previously locked disguise outfits.
Combat and Technical Fixes
Version 1.13.00 addresses a wide range of combat behaviors and technical bugs. Specifically, the team has improved the "Axiom Force" ability to ensure it immediately targets enemies during soft lock-on. Several animation and logic issues for Oongka and Damiane have been resolved, including fixes for Oongka’s Aerial Grapple and Damiane’s Smiting Strike proficiency.
On the technical side, PlayStation 5 players should see fewer stutters in cutscenes, and general game loading times have been addressed. The patch also fixes occasional crashes that occurred when opening the map or during boss rematches.
For a full breakdown of the localization improvements and minor bug squashes, players are encouraged to check the official patch notes on Steam.
