Open-world satire Future? No Thanks! has faced an abrupt last-minute delay on PC via Steam after content reviewers flagged the game over the presence of "untextured polygons depicting ass and boobs." Developer Paulo "Molleindustria" Pedercini revealed that Valve's moderation teams kept the game under review for more than three weeks without making a final decision.

The Steam Review Process Delay
According to Steamworks documentation, standard content reviews are expected to take no more than seven business days. However, Molleindustria stated that Valve's review team encountered roadblocks regarding the game's mild nudity. Reviewers reportedly declined to accept video submissions of the content while simultaneously refusing to play through the advertised six-hour open-world title to evaluate the material in context.
To bypass the stalemate, the developer had to submit a special build featuring a "watch the sex scene" button so moderation staff could quickly access the flagged material.

In Future? No Thanks!, the main character Harvey Huffstone has applied to be euthanised. Completing a romantic encounter serves as one of the bucket list items required to prove his commitment to ending his life. The open-world comedy casts players as a boomer trapped in a left-wing paradise, utilizing the narrative device as part of its satirical structure.
