The latest update for The Elder Scrolls Online is now available across all platforms, introducing the second story questline of Season One: Sheogorath Takes a Holiday. This new content is free for all players and features a series of six quests centered on the Daedric Prince of Madness as he attempts to experience mortal life.

Starting the Questline

To begin the journey, players must pick up the "Sheogorath Takes a Holiday" quest from the in-game Crown Store. Alternatively, you can find the NPC Noth the Unhinged in three specific locations: the Baandari Trading Post in Malabal Tor, Windhelm in Eastmarch, or Sentinel in the Alik’r Desert. Completing the full story rewards players with the Mad God’s Tomeshell pet and the Sheogorath’s Blessed Cheese emote.

Golden Pursuits Campaign

Running alongside the quest release is a limited-time Golden Pursuits campaign, active from July 29 through August 12. This campaign tracks your progress through various activities related to the Sheogorath storyline. Rewards are tiered based on how many activities you complete:

  • 4 Activities: 10,000 Gold
  • 8 Activities: Dramaturge’s Delirium head style
  • 12 Activities: Dramaturge’s Delirium shoulders style
  • 15 Activities: Runegathering of the Mad God customized action

Players can view their progress and the full list of eligible activities by checking the Golden Pursuits section within the in-game Activity Finder.
