Battlestate Games has launched the official start of the first Escape From Tarkov season, codenamed Kord Beach. The major update, designated as version 1.1.0.0, is available now on PC for all players.

Seasonal Progression and Modifiers
The headline addition of the update is the introduction of a comprehensive seasonal system for EFT. Players can create seasonal characters on dedicated PvP servers that operate with a separate balance and economy.
During character creation, players select a unique gameplay modifier system. These modifiers alter the gameplay experience by either increasing the challenge for a hardcore playthrough or simplifying certain mechanics.
Battle Pass and Ecosystem Changes
A global Battle Pass now connects all game modes, offering exclusive seasonal rewards to every player. Additionally, Battlestate Games has integrated the new season alongside the existing “Expansions Hub” and “TarCoin” in-game currency to round out player progression and customization options.
Players can also expect an original story-driven questline that expands the lore of the BlackDivision unit, with a new League system launching shortly after the update to support competitive rankings.
