A new menu is coming to Dead by Daylight designed to help both newcomers and veteran players master killer abilities and survivor counterplay. Following audio difficulties during the July Community Stream, the development team issued a complete July Community Stream recap detailing the upcoming features.

What is the Dead by Daylight Gameplay Showcase?
Arriving in update 10.1.0, the Gameplay Showcase acts as a central hub for learning the mechanics behind every Killer in the game. Rather than forcing players to rely on external resources or trial and error, the menu breaks down each Killer's Power with exact stat values, status effects, action videos, and practical tips.
Crucially, the feature targets both sides of the match. While Killers get bite-sized advice for utilizing their powers more effectively, survivors receive direct tips on spotting counterplay opportunities during a trial.
Accessibility and Tooltip Updates
Players can open the Gameplay Showcase straight from any game lobby, allowing for quick reference even while actively waiting in a matchmaking queue. The menu is accessible either via a designated lobby button or by clicking on a specific Killer's Power icon.
Alongside the new menu, update 10.1.0 includes streamlined, simplified Killer Power tooltips intended to make reading in-game stats faster and clearer. The full feature set will debut ahead of its official release during an upcoming Public Test Build.
