Star Guardians, prepare for downtime: the An Unknown Threat Version 1.7 update is fast approaching. The game will be unavailable for a scheduled seven-hour maintenance window on July 15, 2026, starting at 02:00 UTC and concluding at 09:00 UTC.

New Content and Raid Changes

Version 1.7 brings a significant expansion to the game's roster and world. Alongside the addition of the new hero 'Gowther' and his 'Journey of Self-discovery' exclusive skin, players can progress through Main Quest Act 15, titled Crisis on the Northern Front, located in the new Liones Northern Front region. Combat encounters are also expanding with the 'Deep Spider Nest' raid and the 'Corrupted' Barbarian Chieftain Durak boss challenge.

Players should note that the addition of the Deep Spider Nest raid will trigger a reset of 'Mystic Keys.' To avoid losing potential progress, ensure all current Mystic Keys are spent before the maintenance begins to ensure they are replenished after the update.

Events and Shop Rotations

The update marks the end of several current initiatives, including the Elizabeth pick-up event, the A Midsummer Day’s Dream event story, and the To the Top: Ranking Season 1. Players looking to finalize their participation in these should do so before the July 15 maintenance.

Additionally, the store will see a refresh. Purchase limits for various bundles—including the Special Hero Pick Up bundles and Engraved Equipment Support Bundle II—will be reset. Several 100-day celebration items, including the SSR Magic Shards and specific potential point items, will be removed from the shop after the update.

Maintenance Rewards

To compensate for the seven-hour downtime, 300 Star Fragments will be issued to players via the in-game mailbox. Furthermore, those who participated in the 100-Day Anniversary survey will receive an additional 300 Star Fragments. These rewards will remain claimable for 30 days following distribution. If you submitted the survey, ensure your Server and UID information is correct, as rewards will only be sent to the credentials provided in the first submission.
