Patch 1.0.4 Bug Fixes and Details
The standout fix in version 1.0.4 targets a severe rare issue linked to the Island Builder feature. Previously, using the tool could occasionally result in corrupted save data, which prevented the game from starting in subsequent play sessions. This update resolves that flaw to safeguard player islands.
Additionally, the patch addresses a progression-blocking error that occurred after resolving a Mii character's concerns, which previously caused the software to unexpectedly close. Visual glitches have also been cleaned up, including an issue where Mii characters on clothing shop posters failed to display correctly, and another where Mii selection on posters at the Ferris wheel or news station was unevenly randomized.
Players who have not yet purchased the full title can sample the experience via the "Welcome Version" download available on the Switch eShop. The update downloads automatically via an active internet connection on the console.
