Aspyr has released a new community-focused update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, introducing three key features requested by players. The patch is now available across all platforms, including Nintendo Switch and the recently released Switch 2 version.
New Features
All versions of the game now include the following additions:
- 60fps in Classic Graphics Mode: Players can now experience the classic visual style at a higher frame rate.
- Brightness Slider: A new setting allows for manual brightness adjustments across all three games, with optimal results in HD Graphics Mode.
- Pickup Highlight: Items that Lara can collect are now more visible through increased brightness when playing in HD Graphics Mode.
Bug Fixes and Optimizations
Beyond the new features, the patch addresses several technical issues, including clipping in Natla's Mines, missing UI elements for the harpoon gun, and physics issues in the Living Quarters. The update also improves the reliability of the running Swan Dive when using touch controls and corrects ladder mounting in the Opera House level.
Players on the Nintendo Switch 2 receive additional platform-specific fixes, such as resolving collision bugs in the Cargo Plane's cockpit, fixing softlocks in the Highland Fling and St. Francis Folly levels, and correcting texture flickering in the Reunion and Shakespeare Cliff areas.
To access these changes, ensure your game client is updated to the latest version. This update follows the recent Switch 2 release of the collection, which remains available as a free upgrade for existing Nintendo Switch owners.
