The Pokémon Company has confirmed that a new update for Pokémon HOME is scheduled to launch this October. The update, which brings the application to version 4.1.0, will expand the storage capacity for all users enrolled in the paid Premium Plan.

- Pokémon GO Integration: Pokémon caught in Safari Balls in Pokémon GO can now be transferred to Pokémon HOME; these will automatically change to a 'Strange Ball' upon arrival.

The version 4.1.0 update coincides with the integration of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen into the Pokémon HOME service. Players who complete their Pokédex in these versions will receive a Celebi as a bonus gift.
These updates arrive as the company prepares for the end of support for Pokémon Bank, which is scheduled to shut down on February 25, 2027, in the United States.
