What to Expect from the Remake
While details remain limited, Nintendo has described the project as a "reborn" version of the Nintendo 64 classic. The reveal trailer indicates a complete visual overhaul, departing from the art style seen in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
The announcement footage features narration from the Great Deku Tree and a sequence depicting a restless Link, with a specific focus on the Triforce glowing on his hand during a nightmare. This scene mirrors the opening of the original 1998 title, where Link experiences visions of Zelda and Sheik fleeing Hyrule Castle.
