FromSoftware is hosting a network test for its upcoming Switch 2 title, The Duskbloods, throughout late August. To participate, players must register before the application window closes on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:59pm BST.
How to Register
- Visit the Portal: Go to the official registration website.
- Link Your Account: You must link your Nintendo account to the application. If you encounter an error, ensure your 'Country/region setting' is correctly selected in the dropdown menu on the Nintendo account page.
- Verify Requirements: Participation requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership and access to a Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Registration does not guarantee access. If your application is successful, you will receive a notification on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2pm BST.

What to Expect
While the exact content remains under wraps, FromSoftware has confirmed the following parameters for the test:
- Multiplayer Scope: Matches will support up to eight players simultaneously.
- Purpose: The goal is to perform large-scale load tests on online systems and gather data for game balancing.
- Restrictions: Sharing, streaming, or capturing footage is prohibited; the console's built-in capture functionality will be disabled for the duration of the test.
The gameplay loop is expected to involve a hub area where players prepare for multiplayer matches, including boss encounters and various scenarios.
