What to Expect

While the exact content remains under wraps, FromSoftware has confirmed the following parameters for the test:

  • Multiplayer Scope: Matches will support up to eight players simultaneously.
  • Purpose: The goal is to perform large-scale load tests on online systems and gather data for game balancing.
  • Restrictions: Sharing, streaming, or capturing footage is prohibited; the console's built-in capture functionality will be disabled for the duration of the test.

The gameplay loop is expected to involve a hub area where players prepare for multiplayer matches, including boss encounters and various scenarios.
