The presentation signals a shift for the Nintendo Switch 2's 2026 release schedule. After an early year defined by more niche titles like Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Rhythm Heaven Groove, and Star Fox, Fortune's Weave is now positioned as a primary driver for the console in a competitive September window.
The game will compete for attention against several high-profile releases scheduled for the same month, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. To coincide with the presentation, Nintendo added 10 tracks from the game to the Nintendo Music app, including the track “Storm of Petals.”
