During the recent D23 panel, Disney provided a first look at the future of Disney Dreamlight Valley. The studio confirmed that the game’s fourth expansion, titled The Keepsake Sea, is currently in development.
While an exact release date for The Keepsake Sea has not been set, a teaser trailer confirmed that Jack Sparrow will be a featured character in the upcoming content. This announcement follows the recent release of the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack and the Pixel Perfect free update.
Upcoming Content and Events
In addition to the expansion announcement, several updates were confirmed for the remainder of 2026:
- Hannah Montana & Lizzie McGuire Collection: A new Premium Shop collection featuring outfits inspired by these characters will be available starting August 19, 2026.
- Halloween Update: Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas will join the valley as a new villager. The event will include seasonal festivities, weekly quests, and themed rewards.
- Holiday Update: Lilo, from Lilo & Stitch, will be added to the game during the final free update of the year, facilitating her long-awaited reunion with Stitch.
