The studio already has a track record with this type of work, having previously handled mobile versions for Wreckfest and Titan Quest. The team is also currently working on a mobile port of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed.
What Happens to Original Projects?
While the main company is shifting its development philosophy toward ports, original game development is not ending. The company confirmed that the HandyGames name will live on through a dedicated entity called HandyGames Studio. This branch will continue to develop original, mobile-first projects, ensuring that their internal pipeline for new titles remains active.
