The latest update for Fisch on Roblox, the Astral Observatory update, is now live. This patch introduces a new questline, specialized fishing gear, and a new companion, alongside several balance adjustments and bug fixes.
Starting the Astral Observatory Quest
To access the new content, head to the Laboratory area near Roslit. Speak with the NPC Astronomer Vega to begin the Astral Observatory questline. This quest is your entry point to investigating Astral Anomalies. Once unlocked, you can use the telescope to trigger server-wide buffs, including:
- Celestial Congregation
- Abyssal Alignment
- Evershifting Eclipse
- Meteoric Outburst
- Lunar Eclipse
New Gear and Companions
The update adds four new fishing rods to the game, which can be acquired to upgrade your setup:
- Meteoric Rod
- Scavenger Rod
- Rod Of The Singularity
- Stellarwave Melody
Additionally, a new companion named Comet is available. You must find Comet and feed it Stardust Candy to secure its trust. Once obtained, Comet provides the Astral Luck passive.
Gameplay Adjustments
Several balance changes have been implemented to refine the current fishing experience:
- Boreal Hollow Hunt: The Goliath Siphonophore hunt is now active. Be aware that this creature can interfere with your progress bar and reduce your Resilience during the encounter.
- World Tweaks: Mariana’s Veil tunnels have been shortened, a Submarine Shipwright has been added to The Deep, and the Pufferfish Boat now features three additional seats.
- Quest Fixes: Issues with questgivers and the submarine tier reset bug have been resolved.
Development on the next major content drop, the Skycrest update, is currently underway with a scheduled release date of September 5, 2026.
