Classic pencil-and-paper game Dot Clash is now available on mobile platforms, bringing the traditional rules of Dots and Boxes into a digital format complete with online multiplayer, a solo campaign, and daily challenges.

Online Multiplayer and Board Types
The core rules remain unchanged from the schoolyard doodle. Players take turns drawing lines between dots, closing the fourth side of a box to claim it and earn another turn. For competitive play, the Challenge a Friend online 1v1 mode uses invite links or six-digit codes with thirty-second turn caps. Matches track head-to-head records across rematches on three distinct layouts: a Classic 6x6 grid, a faster 4x4 Blitz, and a 5x5 board called Fortress.
Campaign, Daily Puzzles, and Local Play
Beyond head-to-head matches, the single-player campaign spans 100 levels across five worlds, incorporating twelve boss encounters. A Daily Puzzle mode also refreshes each morning with a new board and bonus rewards for winning. For offline sessions, local pass-and-play lets two people share a single device with adjustable grid sizes.
Power-ups including hints, holds, extra turns, and comeback mechanics are included, alongside a match timer that automatically pauses when leaving the app to prevent stray notifications from costing a turn.
