Disney Dreamlight Valley is shifting its focus from the Hundred Acre Wood to the digital landscape of Wreck-It Ralph. The upcoming Pixel Perfect update, arriving July 29, 2026, tasks players with entering an arcade world to save Ralph from a malfunctioning machine.

Story and Content Additions
The update centers on a mysterious arcade machine causing disruptions throughout the valley. Players are tasked with helping Vanellope rescue Ralph from this digital threat while uncovering the cause of the glitch.
Alongside the narrative content, the Pixel Perfect update introduces the Pop City Star Path. This feature includes both free and premium tracks, allowing players to unlock new furniture, customisation items, and outfits. The summer season will also feature several returning events, such as Summer Sizzle and Memory Mania, alongside the debut of the Parks Floating Festival.
Quality-of-Life Improvements
Based on direct player feedback, the development team is implementing several changes designed to streamline daily tasks:
- Bulk Gifting: Players can now shower Villagers with multiple gifts at once.
- Easier Redecoration: New bulk removal tools have been added to make clearing furniture faster.
- Friendship Perks: Reaching the maximum Friendship Level now grants the ability to Fast Travel directly to Villagers. Additionally, spending time with high-level friends will grant the "Best Friend Glow," which provides special traits.
The update will be available across all supported platforms, including the iOS version currently available through Apple Arcade.
