AV Access has detailed performance test results for its Dock B10 KVM docking station, targeting players and professionals managing both a high-end gaming PC and a work laptop on a single desktop setup.
During testing in a dual-system environment, the setup utilized a Windows gaming PC equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700K processor and an NVIDIA RTX 4080 graphics card. According to the company, the Dock B10 successfully drove dual 4K displays at 165Hz with NVIDIA G-SYNC enabled. The testing period ran without display blackouts, signal dropouts, or disconnections affecting shared USB peripherals like a keyboard, gaming mouse, headset, network connection, or USB storage.
For laptop connectivity, the tests featured an HP ProBook 440 G8 with Intel Iris Xe graphics connected via a single USB-C cable handling video, data, networking, peripherals, and device charging. That work machine successfully drove a mixed dual-monitor configuration consisting of one 4K 60Hz display and one 1440p 60Hz display.
The company also outlines support for alternative display configurations, including single-monitor setups up to 1080p at 240Hz or 1440p at 165Hz, dual 8K 60Hz output using compatible DisplayPort 2.0 cables, and USB-C laptop output up to 4K 165Hz over HDMI using Display Stream Compression (DSC).
Because the dock does not utilize EDID emulation, monitors will briefly reconnect and take a few seconds to return whenever you switch active devices. However, a wired remote switch is included to let users swap systems without reaching behind the desk. Additional hardware specifications include up to 100W USB-C Power Delivery, 10Gbps USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet sharing, an SDXC card reader, and 3.5mm audio support.
