J6 Games has updated its upcoming online co-op title, Loot Gobblin' Together, with a new game mode centered on social deduction. In this mode, players take on the roles of gobblins infiltrating human homes to steal items for their King, but must now contend with hidden roles and objectives inspired by games like Among Us.
Quick Facts
- Game Title: Loot Gobblin' Together
- Developer/Publisher: J6 Games
- Release Date: August 21, 2026
- Platform: PC
How the New Mode Works
The social deduction update introduces a mechanic where players can monitor one another for suspicious behavior. If a player becomes sufficiently suspect, they can trigger a button located in the center of the game table to send that player to jail. To support this addition, the developers have implemented lobby filters that allow players to sort public sessions by region and specific game mode, ensuring those who want to participate in the social deduction variant can find games easily.
Managing Your Gobblin
Outside of the new deduction mechanics, the core gameplay remains focused on the physical challenges of being a gobblin. Players must navigate human environments by stretching, climbing, and carefully managing their stamina levels as they secure loot for the Gobblin King.
If you are interested in testing the gameplay mechanics ahead of the full launch, a demo is currently available on Steam. J6 Games encourages players to wishlist and follow the title on the platform for further updates leading into the August 21 release.
