Developer GPTRACK50 has announced the official release date for Stupid Never Dies, confirming that the single-player action RPG arrives worldwide on October 21, 2026, with a Japanese launch following on October 22, 2026. SEGA is co-publishing and distributing the title globally.

Editions and Pricing

Players have two digital editions to choose from when the game launches on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The Standard Edition costs $49.99 and includes the base game. For $59.99, players can purchase the Glorious Idiot Edition, which bundles the base game with the “TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack” downloadable content.

The DLC pack includes five original TickTock Teddies that add visual features and background music remixes to dungeon runs:

  • Big Head: Gives protagonist Davy a bobblehead effect alongside a combat music remix.
  • Chirp Chirp: Adds unique footstep sound effects during Zombie Style and a new home music track remix.
  • Festival: Features hit sound effects during Davy Burst and a corresponding music remix.
  • Romantic: Replaces graffiti-style effects during Davy Burst with a special gimmick and swaps the background music for the game's theme song.
  • Splash: Introduces new level-up effects and a remix of the “Hurry Up” background music.

Soundtracks and Localization

Ahead of the launch, GPTRACK50 is releasing two official theme songs on August 4 across major music streaming platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify. The opening theme, "Stupid Never Dies," is a pop-punk track performed by characters Davy and Julia. The ending theme, "Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless," is performed by Davy.

At launch, the game supports English voice-overs. Subtitles are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Premise and Gameplay

Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies casts players as Davy, a timid zombie at the bottom of monster society. The core quest centers on defeating enemies, leveling up, collecting items, stealing enemy abilities, and upgrading the undead body to bring a frozen human girl named Julia back to life.
