Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, confirming five specific gameplay and audio additions coming to the title. The game is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

New Features and Combat Mechanics

The update introduces several changes to both the social and combat systems of the original game:

  • Fully Voiced Events: The daily life of Inaba and new Social Link events now feature full voice acting.
  • Send Flying: A new combat mechanic that occurs when landing a normal attack on a status-ailment-afflicted shadow. This knocks the shadow into others, dealing damage and spreading the ailment.
  • Baton Pass: Players can now transfer turns to allies during a 1 MORE sequence to better target enemy weaknesses.
  • Prime Time: A powerful mode that provides a series of consecutive actions. While active, skill costs are removed, enemy resistances are ignored, and Baton Pass can be used freely, concluding with a high-damage "Series Finale."
  • New Music: Composer Riyota Kosuka has provided new music tracks and remixes for the game, featuring vocals by Shiiori Sasaki.

These additions aim to offer more tactical depth during turn-based encounters, specifically through the introduction of the Baton Pass and Prime Time systems, while expanding the game's audio presentation.
