Unraveling a Cold Case

No Case Should Remain Unsolved casts players as former Senior Inspector Jeon Gyeong. Twelve years after her retirement, she is approached by a young officer who urges her to revisit the 2012 disappearance of a young girl named Seowon. The case, which remained unsolved following the original police investigation, serves as the central mystery of the game.

The gameplay mechanics focus on a unique reasoning system. Players must sift through memory fragments, acting as a detective to piece together testimony and clues much like a jigsaw puzzle. As the investigation progresses, players will uncover 54 distinct conversations, various passcodes, and keys, eventually revealing two hidden truths behind the girl's disappearance. The developer notes that the narrative centers on the realization that everyone involved in the original investigation had been lying.

Technical Details and Soundtrack

The PlayStation 5 version arrives as a concise experience, with a total playthrough time estimated between two to three hours. To accompany the investigative gameplay, the title features an original soundtrack composed by Seongyi Yi, who is also known for their work on Legal Dungeon and The Wake.
