Rockstar Games has confirmed the first bridge between GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto VI. Valentina, a character originally introduced during the 2025 Money Fronts DLC for GTA Online, will appear in the upcoming mainline sequel.
Valentina's Role in Grand Theft Auto VI
In GTA Online, Valentina was a minor figure encountered briefly during interactions with Mr. Faber. Her role in Grand Theft Auto VI appears to be more significant. Based on the extended look showcase, she recruits protagonists Jason and Lucia to work as bodyguards during a high-profile event for the Spanish-language television network Megamundo.
The footage suggests she will act as a mission-giver, though Rockstar has not specified how often players will encounter her throughout the game's broader narrative. Fans have noted that her character model has received a visual update for Grand Theft Auto VI, featuring more defined facial details and improved textures compared to her GTA Online appearance.
What This Means for Players
The inclusion of an existing GTA Online character suggests that Rockstar may be integrating its broader crime MMO universe into the single-player experience of GTA 6. While her presence is currently limited to specific mission sequences, players who spent time in the Money Fronts content may recognize her as a bridge between the two titles.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. Rockstar has also confirmed that the game will feature a criminal profile system that tracks the severity of player crimes, functioning similarly to the honor system found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
