Publisher Team17 and developer Crisalu Games have announced that their cooperative cleaning simulator, Goblin Cleanup, will expand beyond its current PC home to reach PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. The console launch will arrive alongside the game’s official full release on PC.
Goblin Cleanup has been available on Steam via Early Access since September 18, 2025. The title tasks up to four players with the unglamorous job of resetting dungeons after adventurers have finished their raids. Players must mop up gore, replenish loot in treasure chests, and restore traps to their original, dangerous states while navigating the chaotic environment.
Gameplay and Progression
The developers recently expanded the game's scope with the “Dungeon Daddy” update in June 2026, which introduced the first completed dungeon, complete with an end-stage boss. Crisalu Games confirmed that the second dungeon is set to open for Early Access players later this summer.
Core gameplay involves managing specific tools to restore order to a dungeon, including:
- Cleaning Tools: Utilize a Slimop, mimic, and slime dispenser to remove blood and viscera from floors and ceilings.
- Environment Restoration: Place objects back into their original positions and ensure traps are primed for the next group of heroes.
- Creature Management: Respawn monsters and dispose of remains, while staying cautious of creatures that may still be alive.
- Loot Replenishment: Refill chests with treasures to keep the dungeon experience authentic for the next party of adventurers.
Players can customize their own "Goblin Maid" to tackle these tasks, with the game emphasizing collaborative, chaotic teamwork as the primary mechanic for managing the dungeon's hazards.
