The next entries in the Kingdom Come and Darksiders franchises are currently slated for release within the 2027/28 fiscal year. According to an interim report published by Embracer Group, both titles are expected to arrive between April 2027 and March 2028.

Confirmed Release Window and Platforms

Embracer Group identified the upcoming releases as part of its forward-looking fiscal planning. While the publisher provided a broad release window for the titles, specific launch dates remain unannounced.

  • Kingdom Come Franchise (Next Entry): Developed by Warhorse Studios, this title is expected to launch between April 2027 and March 2028.
  • Darksiders 4: Developed by Gunfire Games, this title is also set for the April 2027 to March 2028 window. It is confirmed for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The company also noted that Tomb Raider: Catalyst, developed by Crystal Dynamics with support from Flying Wild Hog and Eidos Montréal, is expected within the same fiscal period.

Development Context

Warhorse Studios has been active in expanding its portfolio throughout 2026. In May of this year, the studio confirmed it is working on two distinct projects: an open-world Middle-earth RPG and a new Kingdom Come adventure. Additionally, recent European trademark filings have indicated the potential title Kingdom Come: Salvation.
