What the Expansion Adds to D&D
Principal game designer James Wyatt confirmed during a media pre-briefing that the book ensures every race in World of Warcraft is now fully playable in Dungeons & Dragons by combining 11 new species with pre-existing races shared between both properties, such as Gnomes, Orcs, and Elves.
The expansion also details familiar Azeroth locations like Orgrimmar and Icecrown Citadel. Alongside the new spells, monsters, and factions with unique renown reward systems, campaigns will have access to full stat blocks for legendary characters including Arthas, Jaina, Thrall, and Sylvanas.
