Capcom has launched a crossover update for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen bringing characters and attire from the manga and anime series Delicious in Dungeon (also known as Dungeon Meshi) into the fantasy role-playing game across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The update is also scheduled to arrive for the Nintendo Switch 2 version on Wednesday, November 11.
Quick Facts
- Collaborating Series: Delicious in Dungeon (created by Ryoko Kui)
- Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (live now); Nintendo Switch 2 (November 11)
- Pawns Availability Window: Available to recruit from Riftstones until January 28, 2027
- Outfits: Automatically added to in-game storage upon loading data during the event and remain available permanently after it ends
Official Pawns and Crossover Outfits
The update introduces Official Pawns modeled after the characters Laios and Marcille, which can be recruited directly from the Riftstones. However, these collaboration Pawns are temporary and will only remain accessible until Thursday, January 28, 2027.
In addition to the recruitable characters, players who load their save data during the collaboration window receive special crossover outfits styled after Laios and Marcille's attire. These outfits are sent directly to in-game storage and can be equipped by both the Arisen and Pawns. Unlike the event Pawns, these outfits stay in player inventories permanently even after the collaboration period concludes.
Patch Notes and Bug Fixes
Alongside the crossover content, the new update addresses several technical issues and bugs across vocations, enemies, pawns, NPCs, UI, quests, and game gimmicks.
- Warfarer: Fixed a bug where equipping an Unmaking Arrow in a specific sequence caused the Arisen to T-pose and froze the game.
- Enemies: Resolved an issue where enemies caught in a Rancor's Vortex could not be defeated, preventing the vortex from being dispelled, and fixed a bug where barrier effects remained when finishing an Evil Eye off with an Unmaking Arrow.
- Pawns: Fixed pathfinding bugs that caused pawns to jump off cliffs when called from across them, stopped Thief pawns from indefinitely pulling on large enemy corpses with Ensnare, and fixed instances where pawn dialogue lines failed to play.
- Quests: Addressed a bug in 'A Game of Wits' where pawns moved to the shrine entrance despite being placed on the Sphinx's pedestal, fixed an impassable mountain cliff path during 'Seeking the Sage' (Riddle of the Body), and resolved a progression blocker in 'Beyond Ruin-Night' caused by surviving enemies.
- Gimmicks & Storage: Fixed a bug where saving near the entrance of Precipitous Catacombs or Mired Conduit and reloading caused the door to close permanently, and resolved an inventory issue where weapons and armor given to dismissed pawns were not removed from player inventories.
