BlackJack Studio has officially unveiled Langrisser: Sea of Sword, the latest entry in the long-running tactical RPG series. The announcement comes alongside the launch of the game's Steam page and a debut gameplay trailer, confirming that the title is heading to PC, iOS, and Android.

The story focuses on factional conflicts and survival within an empire, marking a pivot toward a more grounded, choice-driven narrative.
Composer Yasunori Nishiki is leading the project’s musical score, which the studio describes as an orchestral approach designed to reflect the game's war-torn setting. While the game introduces new mechanics and characters, the developer confirmed that familiar faces from the series history—including Elwin, Leon, and Sherry—will return in new roles.
