Magical Life in Starfell

In Aether Wizard Life, players step into the role of a young apprentice mage residing in the haunted town of Starfell. Waking up each morning inside a customizable walking castle, players can choose how to spend their days. Activities range from growing magical crops and caring for exotic creatures to exploring deep dungeons to fight monsters and speaking with local townsfolk to uncover side quests.

The town of Starfell carries dark secrets alongside its charm, haunted by both spirits of the dead and a clandestine organization dedicated to kidnapping wizards and burning them at the stake. Players will investigate this secret group, search for missing mages, and solve the town's central mystery.

Gameplay and Customization Features

Vonder Games producer Shin Wang noted that the project draws inspiration from indie titles like Spiritfarer, Stardew Valley, and DAVE THE DIVER, alongside the animation style of Studio Ghibli. Key gameplay mechanics include:

  • Mastery of Magic: Access to over 30 wizard skills, including spellcasting, weapon crafting, summoning, elemental combat, rune crafting, and time manipulation.
  • Move-In Castle: Build and customize a walking castle with rooms and varied appearances to support magical endeavors.
