Peripheral manufacturer Pulsar has introduced a new entry in the gaming mouse market, the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition. Developed in collaboration with the PC cooling brand Noctua, the device features an integrated cooling system designed to address the issue of clammy palms during extended gaming sessions.

Quick Facts

  • Fan Specs: Uses a 40mm Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan.
  • Weight: 73g total weight.
  • Sensor: Equipped with Pulsar's XS-2 sensor, supporting up to 42,000 DPI.
  • Switch Durability: Optical switches rated for 100 million clicks.
  • Price: $215.94.

Cooling Technology and Design

The Feinmann F01 functions by drawing air through its lightweight shell, moving heat away from the user's hand. Because the mouse utilizes a perforated design and carbon composite materials, Pulsar has managed to keep the total weight at 73g. For comparison, this is lighter than the 89g Logitech G502 X.

Users retain control over the cooling performance without needing to exit their game. The fan can be toggled on or off, and its speed can be adjusted either via the mouse’s built-in controls or the included receiver.

Performance Specifications

Beyond its cooling capabilities, the mouse is built for competitive use. It utilizes Pulsar’s flagship XS-2 sensor, which provides tracking speeds capable of reaching 42,000 DPI. The device also features optical switches that are rated for 100 million clicks, intended to provide longevity for high-frequency users.

The Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition is currently available for purchase through the official Pulsar online store for $215.94.
