Tournament Schedule and Platform Format
The EWC 2026 PUBG: Battlegrounds tournament is divided into two phases across six days of battle royale competition on PC:
- Group Stage: July 21–23, 2026
- Grand Finals: July 24–26, 2026
In the Group Stage, the 24 participating teams are sorted into three groups of eight (Group A, Group B, and Group C). Teams play cross-group round-robin rotation matches across three days—Group A vs. B on Day 1, Group A vs. C on Day 2, and Group B vs. C on Day 3. Each match day consists of six games across classic and modern battle royale maps, including Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo. Every squad plays 12 total matches in this phase.
Placement points and kill counts determine the standings. Once all 18 Group Stage matches conclude, the top 16 teams qualify for the Grand Finals. The bottom eight teams are eliminated from contention.
The Grand Finals and Smash Rule
The Grand Finals run for three days with 16 teams competing over 18 total matches. Placement points and kills remain the core scoring mechanism, but Day 3 introduces the Smash Rule.
Under the Smash Rule, the title can end immediately on the final day once a team that has met the threshold for match-point eligibility secures a Chicken Dinner. If no match-point eligible team manages to win a game before the scheduled 18 matches end, the championship goes to whichever squad holds the highest total overall score.

Made in Thailand topped the overall standings with 119 points, driven by strong performances in the Group A vs. B rotation.
