Riot Games has detailed the full change list for League of Legends patch 26.15, arriving on PC on July 29, 2026. Alongside the patch, the update brings the long-awaited League Classic game mode, adhering to the game's bi-weekly release cadence.
Quick Facts
- Release Date: July 29, 2026 on PC
- Key Highlight: A substantial rework for Bel'Veth targeting early game power and late-game scaling
- Major Adjustments: Follow-up nerfs to Mordekaiser after overbuffs in patch 26.14, targeted champion nerfs for Locke, Riven, Naafiri, and Sylas, plus buffs for Alistar, Kai'sa, Maokai, Volibear, and Zac
The Bel’Veth Rework
The core focus of patch 26.15 is a sweeping set of changes for Bel'Veth. Riot Games designed the rework to lower her early skirmish and invade strength so that she relies more on fulfilling her late-game fantasy. Her base attack speed, attack speed ratio, attack damage, and base health have all been adjusted, while her model size is reduced by 5 percent.
Crucially, her ultimate's empowered buff duration is now infinite once reaching 80 stacks (45 or 90 seconds at lower stack thresholds), meaning she remains a persistent threat rather than relying on a timed window that opponents could simply avoid.
Champion Buffs and Nerfs
Following balance issues in patch 26.14, Mordekaiser is receiving nerfs to his Death Realm stat steal, dropping from 13 percent down to 10 percent, alongside a cooldown adjustment to his E ability. Locke is also seeing targeted nerfs to base health, Q nail damage, W movement speed, and grey health to combat dominance in middle ranks of play where players fail to punish her late game.
Other champion adjustments include nerfs to Riven's AD bonus on her R, Naafiri's ultimate and packmate damage, and Sylas's Q1 damage. Meanwhile, champions receiving direct buffs include Alistar (+5 base movement speed), Kai'sa (increased passive on-hit damage), Maokai (Q monster modifier and AP damage scaling improvements), Volibear (shorter Q cooldown), and Zac (armor growth and E cooldown adjustments).
System Changes and Item Adjustments
The update also touches several items on the Rift. Bastionbreaker sees its cost reduced from 3200g to 3000g alongside a base damage increase for Shaped Charge. Terminus gains bonus AD and AP scaling on its on-hit damage, and Yuntal gets a cost reduction to 3000g paired with increased attack speed. On the system nerf side, the Jack of All Trades rune yields lower adaptive stats at 5 and 10 stacks.
