Story and Setting

Set in the 26th century, humanity has colonized deep into the galaxy. The United Nations Space Command (UNSC) defense forces find themselves locked in a losing war against the Covenant, an alliance of alien species. Players step into the boots of the supersoldier Master Chief aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. When the ship crashes onto a mysterious ringworld known as Halo, Master Chief must fight the Covenant and uncover a galactic-scale threat.
