One of the most consistent squads in ALGS history is making a significant impact during the 2026 ALGS Split 1 Playoffs. Team Vision—comprised of Carter, Zach, and LOTR31—has navigated the competitive scene through various roster transitions and org statuses, and they are currently positioned with strong prospects heading into the Match Point Finals.
Signing with Team Vision
For many players, the stability of an organization can act as a catalyst for performance. Team Vision secured an org signing shortly before the current split began, a move that Carter believes has provided a necessary boost to the team's morale.
"Well, I feel like when people get signed, they automatically get that boost, and I feel like they just crave more because you have something to back you up and support you," Carter said in an exclusive interview with Dot Esports. Beyond the organizational support, he attributes their longevity to internal accountability, noting, "You just gotta keep each other accountable, and make sure you guys are lifting each other up, and just make sure everyone’s doing the job."
The Return of Seer to the Meta
The competitive landscape of Apex Legends has shifted recently due to a midseason buff for Seer. While the character was once defined by the high-impact scans and flashbangs of Season 10, his current iteration has become a focal point for Team Vision’s strategy.
"It was one of the best things that happened, because I think our IGL Zach is a phenomenal Seer," Carter explained. "He just knows how to change the game when he plays the character." While Carter is happy to utilize Seer, he remains wary of the character's past dominance, joking, "Oh god, I fear that day [referring to the original release]."
When asked about which Legend he would prefer to see banned from competitive play, Carter pointed to Crypto. "Everyone’s happy to see Crypto banned. I feel like if people had the option, they would ban him before the game would even start. The EMP is so strong. He gets way too much information and it’s just hard to punish."
Clutch Performance on Storm Point
Team Vision’s momentum was solidified during the final day of the Group Stage. In Match 5, after both LOTR and Zach were downed, Carter—playing as the Legend Alter—managed to escape deep into the zone on Storm Point while being pursued by multiple squads. He successfully rallied, respawned his teammates, and led the squad to a 19-kill victory.
"It was electric," Carter said. "Honestly, I so confidently feel like I’m one of the best get out of jail free card players. So it felt insane." The win catapulted the team into the top of the overall rankings, a performance Carter felt was long overdue for the squad. "From yesterday, we were very much due for a big day, and I confidently feel like we’re the best fighting team."
Looking Toward the Finals
Despite their recent success, Team Vision faces stiff competition. Elite Esports currently leads the leaderboard with 199 points, a squad that Carter acknowledges is playing at a high level. "They just look way too good. They are carrying way too much momentum," he admitted.
However, the confidence within the Team Vision camp remains high. With 19 other squads set to compete in the upcoming matches, Carter believes his team is ready to claim the top spot. "The ceiling is so high and I see way too much for us to do that. Yeah, definitely feel like this is the year."
