Elementa Games is pulling back the curtain on its upcoming Victorian fantasy title, Silver Palace. As part of a new push for the detective-themed action RPG, the developer has released a stylish gameplay trailer and officially opened signups for its latest round of testing, dubbed the “Dichotomy” beta.

The game tasks players with stepping into the shoes of a detective within the sprawling world of Silvernia, where the core loop involves investigating dark secrets, interrogating suspects, and navigating a world filled with unique mechanics. The latest footage highlights a variety of activities available to players, including card games, chess matches, and traversal via massive flying whale-blimps.

What to Expect in the Dichotomy Beta

This second closed beta follows the initial “Monotype” test held earlier in January. The “Dichotomy” phase, which is currently live and runs through July 16, 2026, is exclusive to Windows PC. According to Elementa Games, there will be no in-game purchases available during this period, and all player data will be wiped once the test concludes.

For those lucky enough to gain access, this build features new environments and systems not present in previous tests. Most notably, the beta allows players to experience the game as the newly revealed male protagonist, expanding on the story-focused gameplay shown in the latest trailer.

A Niche in a Crowded Field

Silver Palace is clearly aiming to carve out its own space among popular open-world gacha titles. The trailer emphasizes a specific focus on detective work, such as the ability to stealthily monitor characters, which sets it apart from more combat-centric RPGs. The narrative tension—highlighted by a mysterious character named Red Rose—suggests a strong emphasis on story and atmosphere.

While Elementa has yet to set a firm launch date for the project, they are bringing the game directly to fans in the coming months. If you miss out on the digital beta, the developer has confirmed a series of hands-on event appearances throughout 2026:

  • Anime Expo (Los Angeles): July 2–5
  • Japan Expo (Paris): July 9–12
  • Bilibili World (Shanghai): July 10–12
  • Firefly ACG EXPO (Guangzhou): July 17–20
  • Anime NYC (New York City): Aug. 20–23
  • gamescom (Cologne): Aug. 26–30
  • gamescom Asia (Bangkok): Oct. 29–Nov. 1

Interested players can head over to the official Silver Palace website to sign up for a chance to participate in the current testing phase.
