Deltarune Chapter 5 features a series of challenging boss battles as you reach the end of your journey in the Dark World. Whether you are tracking down Aqua in the gardens or preparing for the final encounter with Flowery, knowing where to look is half the battle.
Boss Locations at a Glance
- Aqua: Found in the cave near the Torii gates after obtaining the water canister from the first Diner.
- Seth: Initially encountered near the stairs to the Floral Castle; the full fight occurs at the top of the castle.
- Orange & Green: These two are fought as a duo after meeting them at the Second Diner and proceeding further up the castle.
- Yellow: Located after defeating the gigantic revolver, which is found by taking the path to the left of the blue and yellow doors.
- Blue: Found by traveling left from the location where you save Yellow from the Hyper Punishment gun.
- Flowery: The final boss, encountered at the top of the castle after clearing all other bosses.
Detailed Boss Breakdown
Aqua
To find Aqua, progress until you gain access to the first Diner. Exit through the bottom-right corner and head toward the Garden. Pass the 'Exit' sign and follow the path to loop back to the Diner. Use the door in the center to collect a water canister, which creates a path across gaps. Locate the cave opening near the Torii gates to trigger the fight. Defeating her rewards you with the Petal Feather.
Seth
You will first meet Seth while she is speaking with Aqua near the Cliffs region. You must defeat her bullet pattern—a giant set of specs—at the entrance to the Floral Castle. The complete boss battle takes place later, near the top of the castle.
Orange and Green
You will encounter Orange after meeting a shady character with boxing gloves on your way to the top of the castle. Shortly after, you will meet Green at the Second Diner. The actual boss fight occurs higher in the castle. Note that you cannot damage them directly; you must promote the hand of friendship to emerge victorious.
Yellow and Blue
After navigating the castle and finding the blue and yellow doors, head left to face a giant revolver. Defeating this boss introduces Yellow. Later, after saving Yellow from the Hyper Punishment gun, travel left to find blue-petaled flowers and meet Blue. He will eventually open the locked blue door, leading to the room where you face both Yellow and Blue together.
Flowery
Flowery is a constant presence throughout your journey, occasionally assisting you and other times conspiring against you. The final boss fight begins once you have cleared all previous bosses, parkoured to the top of the castle, and moved past Green’s shop.
Optional Encounters
For those looking for extra challenges, there are two optional bosses:
- Pink: A familiar face from Undertale (Mad Mew Mew) located at the castle.
- Trashy Trio: Comprised of Trashy, Ball, and Nubert. These are accessible only if you recruited all enemies from Chapter 2 and are using that same save file.
