Fortnite and Bloober Team Crossover Details

The integration of Cronos: The New Dawn into the Battle Royale ecosystem marks a significant crossover for Epic Games. Bloober Team, the studio known for their work on the Silent Hill 2 Remake has brought their protagonist into the Fortnite universe. This addition allows players to equip The Traveller outfit, which includes the character's signature helmet, armor, and the Sword MK-1615 weapon.

How to Access The Traveller Skin

Players looking to obtain the new cosmetic have two distinct pathways. The method chosen depends on whether the player intends to purchase the associated title or simply wants the cosmetic item.

In-Game Shop Purchase

For players who do not wish to purchase Cronos: The New Dawn the skin is available for direct acquisition. It can be found within the Fortnite Shop tab for a cost of 1,500 V-Bucks. Once purchased, the item is immediately added to the player's locker for use across all supported platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

Epic Games Store Promotion

The promotional offer allows players to receive the skin at no additional cost beyond the game purchase. To qualify for this reward, players must fulfill the following criteria:

• Purchase Cronos: The New Dawn on the Epic Games Store.
• The purchase must occur on or after April 21, 2026.
• The Epic Games account used for the purchase must be the same account linked to the Fortnite profile.

Technical and Platform Context

Fortnite originally released on September 26, 2017, continues to operate as a multi-platform shooter and action title. The inclusion of The Traveller skin maintains the game's standard for cosmetic integration across all versions of the software. Because the skin is linked to the Epic Games account, cross-progression ensures that players who unlock the item via the Epic Games Store can access it on consoles or mobile devices provided their accounts are synchronized.

The collaboration highlights the ongoing relationship between Konami-affiliated partners and Epic Games. By bringing a character from a 2025 horror title into the Battle Royale meta, the developers continue to expand the visual variety of the character roster. The inclusion of the Sword MK-1615 as part of the outfit set provides players with a specific thematic loadout that matches the source material from Bloober Team's recent project.
