Quick Facts
- Release Date: September 24, 2026

- Exclusivity Window: At least six months
- Potential Xbox Window: March 2027
Konami has confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall will launch as a console exclusive for PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2026. While the title will be available on PC at launch, fine print found at the end of the game's latest 19-minute gameplay reveal indicates that the game will not arrive on other consoles for at least six months.
This six-month window suggests that an Xbox Series X|S version could potentially arrive as early as March 24, 2027. However, Konami has not provided a definitive release schedule for platforms outside of the initial PS5 and PC launch.
The developer has described Silent Hill: Townfall as a self-contained psychological horror experience set in Scotland, 1996. Players will return to an island town to "put things right" while navigating a series of puzzles and confrontations centered on the truth of St. Amelia.
Previous entries in the series have seen varied release patterns; for instance, Silent Hill 2 arrived on Xbox hardware more than a year after its initial release. Players looking to play Townfall on Xbox should expect a wait of at least six months before further platform announcements are made.
