Mechanical Serpent Growth and Combat

The title trades traditional biological scales for steel, placing players in control of a heavily armed mechanical war machine tasked with dismantling the forces of Dr. EVIL. Drawing inspiration from classic snake mechanics, every defeated enemy drops components that extend the robotic serpent's body. Each newly added segment functions as an active weapon platform, turning the expanding tail into a mobile arsenal.

This growth mechanic introduces tactical risk. As the machine expands and gains firepower, its target size increases correspondingly, forcing players to balance offensive output against precise evasion as enemy bullet hell patterns saturate the screen.

Build Variety and Modes

To keep runs distinct, the game utilizes an upgrade system featuring over 30 ability cards and more than 10 unique serpent heads to unlock. Players can mix and match plasma lasers, homing missiles, and defensive shields to tailor their approach.

Three core play modes are available at launch:

  • Campaign Mode: Handcrafted stages featuring escalating encounter difficulty.
  • Roguelike Mode: Procedurally adapted layouts, randomized enemies, and fluctuating upgrade paths.
  • Boss Rush Mode: Back-to-back combat challenges focused on Dr. EVIL's strongest creations.

The release is available right now on the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One via Xbox Play Anywhere, alongside PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions.
