What the Departure Means for Players
Set in 1989 in Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest, Firewatch follows a man named Henry working as a fire lookout. He interacts via radio with his supervisor, Delilah, while dealing with personal grief over his seriously ill wife. The game features voice performances from Rich Sommer as Henry and Cissy Jones as Delilah.
Because the game takes roughly four to six hours to finish, subscribers still have enough time to play through the entire story before it rotates out of the Xbox Game Pass library. Once removed, players will need to purchase the game separately to continue playing it through the platform.
