Microsoft has officially confirmed the next wave of titles set to depart the Xbox Game Pass library. Eight games are scheduled to be removed from the service on July 31, 2026, according to listings currently marked as “leaving soon” on the official Xbox mobile app.
Titles Leaving Xbox Game Pass
The list of upcoming departures includes several notable titles across console, PC, and cloud platforms. The full list of games leaving on July 31 includes:
- Back To The Dawn (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Celeste (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Crusader Kings 3 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord (Console, PC, Cloud)
- My Friendly Neighborhood (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Rain World (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Sniper Elite: Resistance (Console, PC, Cloud)
- Whiskerwood (PC)
It is worth noting that Back to the Dawn, My Friendly Neighborhood, and Whiskerwood previously appeared on early-month departure lists before being removed from that status by Microsoft. Their current presence on the list confirms they are slated for removal at the end of the month.
Purchase Discounts
Subscribers interested in keeping these titles can purchase them at a discount before they leave the service. Microsoft is offering at least 20% off all eight games until they are removed on July 31. Additionally, Crusader Kings 3 and Whiskerwood have received further reductions as part of the ongoing Xbox Summer Sale.
Upcoming Additions
While these titles are exiting the service, the library continues to rotate. July is set to include the arrival of Halo: Campaign Evolved and Mistfall Hunter. Furthermore, Microsoft has already confirmed five titles scheduled to join Xbox Game Pass throughout August 2026.
